As the Strategic Alliances Executive – Global System Integrators (GSI) , with Tableau, you will be responsible for developing and managing successful relationships with these named strategic partners, to drive opportunities and revenues through these GSI’s. Leveraging your previous experience gained in a similar role, you will be collaborating with Tableau’s sales organization to manage the day-to-day sales efforts in support of the Global Systems Integrator Partners and will be identifying and developing solution opportunities within our existing major GSIs and driving opportunities aligned to these solutions.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record in forming successful, strategic partnerships with Global System Integrators such as Accenture, Deloitte, etc. as well as a background in direct sales in the Information Management, Business Intelligence, and Data Warehousing space.


Some of the things you will be doing include….


Leveraging your existing network of GSI relationships to engage Tableau with GSI executives to establish strategic alignment from the top-down. Identifying and formalizing solutions that include Tableau and working with the GSIs to manage go-to-market programs to establish pipeline and revenue. Generating new pipeline by working with the partner business units including business development, program management and marketing. Developing joint business plans with our Global Systems Integrator Partners to satisfy mutually agreed upon goals and objectives. Managing and developing joint solution programs to maximize net new sales revenue from our Global System Integrator/s examples including SAP, Salesforce industry and cross industry solutions . Managing the day-to-day relationships with these large and highly matrixed Partners. Be the single point of contact for our GSI partners, including on-boarding, account management, forecasting, business reviews and Q&A. Co-selling with our GSI partner/s to close sales opportunities and interacting with our direct sales teams on the Partner engagement model. Responsible for our Global Systems Integrator pipeline, quota and bookings. Responsible for input into Tableau go-to-market activities, including assisting with activity definitions, oversight, pricing, and channel resources.

Strong business development skills with the ability to multi-task on opportunities and solution development efforts, & prioritize well in a dynamic work environment. Experienced . Extensive experience managing Global Systems Integrators, with direct sales experience in Enterprise Sales a plus. Proven success in SI management building long-term, productive partnerships. Strong communication and presentation skills . You love the idea of sharing the Tableau story Domain. Experience with analytics, data, databases, predictive modeling, or business intelligence preferred. Excellent communicator. You are a superior communicator, with strong business development skills and executive presence.

As a result of continuous growth in DACH, we are looking to hire an additional Director Enterprise Sales who will manage a growing team of senior field based Account Executives. This role is a brand new opportunity and will compliment existing sales leadership team enabling further growth in the region.


What you’ll be doing …


As Director, Enterprise Sales will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Account Executives driving sales and growth within Tableau’s most important and strategic customer accounts across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Director will help define strategies and account plans for growing revenue within these accounts, enterprise wide opportunities as well as small, departmental transactions.


Some of the things you’ll be doing include …

Leading Tableau’s efforts selling into established strategic enterprise and greenfield accounts. Quota responsibility for Large Account book of business to meet and exceed sales goals. Lead and manage a team of field based Enterprise Account Executives including resource management, hiring, mentoring, developing and performance management. Supporting the team of Account Executives by participating and leading in client meetings. Develop and manage global and local channel partners and system integrators for land & expand selling in to enterprise accounts. Strategic advisor to DACH Country Manager, providing ideas and input on the best ways to grow Tableau revenues through these strategic, large accounts. Your input will drive initiatives within multiple departments, including Sales, Marketing, Development, Customer Experience, and Operations. Define organizational and territorial structure for future growth, planning to add headcount while managing top line revenue and cost of sales. Ensure internal processes are followed, including team’s adherence to tracking customer and transactional information in CRM system and other sales and operational processes. Define new processes to increase overall productivity. Participate in team-building and company-growth activities including strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts and customer care. Travel to customer’s sites, partners and events throughout DACH in support of sales efforts, and to Tableau offices and events in the USA and elsewhere. Other duties as assigned.
